Spectroscopy Laboratory Research Areas
1) Optical Spectroscopy for material characterization and identification of substances for basic research and industrial application (spirits, food, drugs, etc.).
2) Development and characterization of inorganic and organic photonic materials (π conjugates) for applications in optoelectronics and photonics.
LASERS: Tunable system OPO (10ns pulse, 410 nm-2000 nm), Nd:YAG (10ns pulse, 1064 nm, 532 nm & 352nm), Nd:YVO Laser (CW, 5W, 532nm), Ti: Sapphire (CW, 500mW, 790nm-1100 nm), Ti: Sapphire (Ultra-fast fs).
Spectrophotometer UV-VIS-NIR, Spectrometers (500 mm focal distance, UV-VIS-NIR), Atomic Force Microscope, Oscilloscope (500 MHz, 2 Channels), Lock-in amplifier, Photon counting system , intensified CCD camera and solid state detectors.
