He received his Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering and his Master degree of Science in Electrical Engineering
at the Instituto Tecnológico of Aguascalientes. He obtained a PhD degree in Automatic Control from
Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (CINVESTAV).
In addition, he conducted a research stay at the Centro de Domótica Integral de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
Arturo Díaz has worked on issues related to high concentration photovoltaic systems, one or dual axis solar tracking,
low-cost solar sensors, solar tracking algorithms, control systems, among others. He is member of the
Grupo de Investigación e Ingeniería en Energía Solar of Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (GIIE-Sol).
