Dr. Noé Alcalá received his BSc degree in physics with a major in mathematics from the Universidad Michoacana (UMSNH) México, in 1986 and his MSc and PhD degrees in optics from the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO), México, in 1990 and 1997, respectively. He was in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Loughborugh University, England, from 1996 to 1997. Since then, he has been a researcher at CIO.
Research Interests:
His main research interest include Nondestructive optical testing (ESPI, moiré, Interferometry, profilometry) , Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), microscopy and optical super-resolution techniques.
