Dr. Daniel A. May-Arrioja received the degree in Electronic Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez (I.T.T.G.) in 1996, the M.Sc. from INAOE in 1998, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Optics from CREOL, The College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central Florida in 2002 and 2006, respectively. Since 2015 he is a researcher at the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO).
Research Interests:
Novel photonic devices based on optical fibers and integrated optics for the development of sensors and biosensors to monitor different variables and telecomm components such as tunable lasers, photonic switches, and modulators.
