Personal information:
Received his BS in electronics and communications from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, México, and his PhD from the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica in 1978 and 2002, respectively. He did a pre-doctoral stay at ITO, Stuttgart Germany during 2000. His PhD work involved pulsed laser metrology of rotational objects.
Research interests:
Full field optical non destructive testing include experimental ESPI and digital holographic interferometry studies of dynamic events using high speed cameras and cw lasers.
