Personal Information:
Dr. Meneses obtained the PhD from Manchester University, England, in 1994. He joined the Photonics Group at the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics, at Puebla, Mexico. In 1998 joined the Material Optical Properties Group at the Optical Research Center in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Research Interests:
His actual research interest are in the fabrication and characterization of doped material and their applications to photonics. The use of optical spectroscopy, such as Raman and laser induced breakdown, for the characterization of materials in archeology and industry. He also works in the characterization of organic solar cells by Light beam induced current and spectroscopic techniques.
