Biophotonic Nanosensors Laboratory

  • Biophotonic Nanosensors Laboratory

Summary:

Our laboratory was launched in 2017. We study novel optically active (bio)nanomaterials and their (bio)photonic interactions. In doing so, we are able to develop innovative platforms and devices devoted to heatlh care, environmental monitoring, food analysis and safety and security. Overall, we are interested in the following topics: Biophotonics, Optically active (bio)nanomaterials, Nanoplasmonics, Graphene and 2D materials, Wearable devices, Smart Materials, Digital Technologies, Point of care devices, Biosensors, Nanocomposites, Microarray technology, In vitro diagnostics.

Technologies /Techniques:

UV-Vis, Fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy

Equipment:

Cytation 5, Mutimodal Spectrophotometer, Sonoplot, Picoliter Deposition System, Wax printer (paper-based chips production).
